Welcome to the Corner Nook’s link to the world!  Corner Nook is located in the quaint Village of Waterloo, Nebraska which is just 3 miles west of Omaha and approximately 15 miles east of Fremont.  It is also part of the “Shoppes of the Vintage Villages” which includes shops and restaurants in the towns of Valley, Waterloo and Elkhorn.

 The Corner Nook had been a distant dream of mine for many years.  One of those things where you go into some really fun and unique shop that you have discovered and think “Wouldn’t it be fun to own and run a neat little shop like this? - Wouldn’t it be great to own a business where you get to meet new people everyday, go to market and decorate to your heart’s content?”

 Well, somehow things kind of fell into place in my life and my dream suddenly became reality.  With the help of a VERY supportive husband, family and friends we found the perfect building for my shop, fixed it up, went to markets then opened the door of Corner Nook on May 1^st of 2007. 

Corner Nook has four rooms filled to the rafters with an eclectic mix of gift and home décor items.  I wanted a shop where you have to do a lap around each room to get a feel for it and then do at least two more laps around the whole store to take everything in.  From the response I get when people come through the front door, I achieved my goal! 

Get a “Girls Day Out” together and spend the afternoon at the Corner Nook and other businesses in the “Vintage Villages”.  You will discover many hidden treasures in our small towns that you can’t find in the big city.
